Can Someone Else Pick Up My Tickets?

Modified on Mon, 25 Aug at 1:20 PM

Sometimes plans change — if you can’t be there in person, here’s what you need to know about authorizing someone else to collect tickets that require in-person pickup (like Will Call or Custom Delivery).

First, Check Your Delivery Method

If your order shows Custom Delivery, your tickets must be collected in person. Depending on the seller’s setup, pickup could be:

  • At the venue’s official Will Call window

  • From a nearby pickup location arranged by the seller

  • Directly from a seller representative

Pickup instructions are always emailed before your event with details on where to go and what to bring.

Who Can Pick Up?

Tickets are usually held under the name on the order, and that person must show a valid photo ID.

If another person needs to pick them up:

  • A name change request can be submitted

  • Approval is not guaranteed and depends on the seller and timing

  • Requests must be arranged before the event

How to Request a Pickup Name Change

Start a live chat with our team as soon as possible. We’ll:

  1. Review your order

  2. Contact the seller to request an update

The earlier you reach out, the better the chances we can help.

Final Tip

Don’t wait until the day of the event — name changes can take time to process. If you think someone else may need to pick up, start a live chat immediately.
