Can I Share Tickets With Someone Else?

Modified on Mon, 25 Aug at 1:16 PM

Yes—you can usually transfer or share your tickets with a friend or family member. Each person will need their own valid ticket for entry. The one main exception is parking passes, which cover just one vehicle.

How Sharing Works

Mobile Tickets

  • Transfers are made through the original ticketing platform (like Ticketmaster, AXS, or MLB Ballpark).

  • You’ll typically need your friend’s name and email address to complete the transfer.

  • Once the tickets are sent, your friend will receive their own set of access instructions directly from that platform.

Print-at-Home (PDF)

  • You can either email the PDF file or print out a copy to hand off.

  • Each person entering must present their own ticket with a clearly visible barcode.

Physical Tickets or Wristbands

  • These must be passed along in person or shipped to your friend.

  • If mailing, be sure to allow enough time before the event.

Situations Where Sharing May Not Apply

While most tickets can be shared, some exceptions may apply:

  • Group entry only – everyone must arrive together.

  • Seller escort – a seller representative may walk the group in.

  • Name restrictions – very uncommon, but occasionally required by the venue or organizer.

If any of these apply, the details will be shown in the ticket listing or delivery instructions.
