Accessing Tickets from Ticketmaster

Modified on Mon, 25 Aug at 1:19 PM

If your tickets were sent via Ticketmaster (either directly or through a team’s Account Manager), you can claim and view them in just a few steps. Follow this guide to get your tickets ready for event day.

1. Check your transfer email

You’ll receive your transfer from one of two sources:

From Ticketmaster.com

  • Email subject: “[Name] sent you tickets”

  • Click Accept Tickets to open Ticketmaster in your browser.

  • Sign in or create a Ticketmaster account using the same email address that received the transfer.

From a team’s Account Manager (AM Ticketmaster)

  • Email will come from the team’s ticketing system (e.g., Chiefs Account Manager, Broadway In Chicago, etc.).

  • Open it on your phone and tap Accept Tickets.

  • Sign in to that team’s Account Manager using your transfer email.

  • If you don’t have an account yet, create one with the same email the tickets were sent to.

Didn’t get the email?
Log in directly to Ticketmaster.com or your team’s Account Manager to check if the tickets are already in your account.

2. Download the Ticketmaster App

Get it for free from the App Store or Google Play.

  • The app is the fastest way to access your tickets at the venue.

Having trouble with the app

You can also log in at www.ticketmaster.com on your mobile browser or a desktop.

3. View and prepare your tickets

Once logged in:

  1. Tap My Tickets at the bottom of the app.

  2. Select your event to view your ticket details.

QR codes may not display on desktop — for best results, use the mobile app.

4. Add tickets to your mobile wallet

  • Tap Add to Apple Wallet or the Android equivalent.

  • Some tickets (SafeTix) may not display a barcode in your wallet — this is normal. These tickets use encrypted technology and will still scan at the gate.

Common issues and fixes

"Oops, something went wrong" (penguin image)

  • Click the Ticketmaster link at the top of the error page.

  • Log in again — tickets often appear after a refresh.

  • If not, wait 10 minutes and click the original transfer link again.

  • Still stuck? Try using an incognito/private browser window.

"These tickets have been accepted by another email address"

  • Log out of Ticketmaster completely.

  • Click the transfer link in your email again.

  • Sign in with the email address that received the tickets.

No barcode showing

  • SafeTix mobile tickets may hide the barcode in the wallet view — they remain valid and scannable at the venue.

Event day tips

  • Use the same phone to accept and present your tickets.

  • Save them to your mobile wallet before leaving home in case of poor cell service.

  • SafeTix tickets will still scan even if no barcode is visible.
