What Happens if the Event Is Postponed or Rescheduled?

Modified on Mon, 25 Aug at 1:14 PM

Your Tickets Remain Valid

If your event is postponed or rescheduled, your original tickets will still be honored. There’s no need to take any action—simply hold on to your tickets until the new date.

Tickets-Center will notify you by email as soon as updated event details are confirmed.

Postponed vs. Rescheduled

  • Postponed – The event will not occur on the original date, and a new date has not yet been announced.

  • Rescheduled – A new official date has already been set by the organizer.

If your event is postponed, we’ll update you when a new date is confirmed. You can also check the venue’s or event organizer’s website for the latest updates.

Do I Need New Tickets?

In most cases, no. Your original tickets will be valid for the new date and time.
If the event organizer or seller issues replacement tickets, we’ll make sure they’re delivered to you in time for the event.

Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds are not offered for postponed or rescheduled events, since your tickets remain valid for entry on the new date.

All event date changes are determined by the venue or performer, not by Tickets-Center. Our role is to ensure your tickets remain valid and to keep you informed.

What If You Can’t Attend the New Date?

If the new date doesn’t work for you, here are your options:

  • Transfer your tickets to a trusted friend or family member.

  • Resell them through trusted platforms like Lysted.

  • File a claim with Allianz ticket protection if you purchased coverage at checkout.
